Laura Murphy is good at making funny stuff. She just directed F Marry Kill, a theatrical release from Lionsgate/Buzzfeed Films and the Murderville Holiday Special (Who Killed Santa) starring Maya Rudolph, Will Arnett and Jason Bateman. Her first feature, Cursed Friends was for Comedy Central and starred Jessica Lowe, Nicole Byer, Harvey Guillan, Andrew Caldwell, Rob Riggle and Will Arnett.  She directed 5 episodes of the hilarious Awkwafina is Nora From Queens, the whole second season of Now We’re Talking, a scripted comedy series for CW Seed, tons of episodes of Adam Ruins Everything, sketches for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and all the seasons of MTV’s GirlCode, for which she was also the head writer. She also enjoys boxing, jumpsuits and cheese.
